AUI Fine Foods (AUI) is a company that provides a large selection of imported special pastry ingredients, tartlets, decoration and confections across the United States. AUI has been serving professional chefs for over 45 years, and continues to deliver on their promise of uncompromising commitment to quality products and services. YKMD was tasked with updating the food catalog for distribution for a more palatable, creative and modern look and feel. The ideal design outcome included displaying attractive colors, fonts and food callouts and features through photos to create mass visual appeal.
The YKMD team provided an updated, modern, clean 8×11 catalog with content provided by the client. The Catalog included 260 pages of content with and without pricing, organized and displayed in an easily digested visual format. Content included Hug Food Service items, tartlets, Silikomart flier, Color Solutions, Chocolate World Molds and more.

The YKMD collaborated with the AUI team to finetune the look and feel of the catalog, from front cover to end. The lead designer and project manager met with the client to solidify the right visual direction based on previous catalog outcomes. YKMD made it easy for the team to express their desires and to make any changes necessary.
An elegant, clean and elevated design was achieved after discussing color, shapes, product callouts and pull outs featured throughout.
Product shots were then used to fill the catalog. This was paired with specific details about ingredients, color, number of molds and prices.
Once we had a consensus on direction, AIU was given varying design options to choose from.
At the end, both parties were satisfied with the final products.
